No nasties were noted resulting from a less than stellar encode and it looks to be another bang-up job of getting the film onto the disc and retaining as much of the good work of the underlying restoration, which also seems to have completely eradicated that low-level judder than could be seen across the films on the previous release, as possible. Despite its troubled production history, Hellraiser: Bloodline offers the most consistent of the 4K images, representing a sizeable jump forward in colour depth and detail compared to the film's earlier Full HD presentations on US Blu-ray releases.It looks much more film-like, is even and banishes the slightly splotchy rendering it had on the previous 1080p releases…and has the knock-on effect of rendering fine detail with that extra little bit of clarity. Because Frank has used the Lament Configuration box to taste pleasures outside the normal realm of human sensation, freeing him from hell unleashes Pinhead and a menagerie of demons (cenobites) back unto earth. the more "normal" palette sequences fairly burst at time, especially with regard to primaries, including the all important reds.
