About this deal

Compared to Carbonaut pads, KryoSheet offers a significantly higher thermal conductivity as a high-end product.

There is no adhesive so you do need to be a bit careful when you install the sheet, but not really any more difficult than dealing with paste. Thermal Grizzly is introducing a new product, KryoSheet, which is part of the company's advertised "High Performance Cooling Solutions". I do not think it functions properly under a delidded and resealed IHS--I would ONLY use liquid metal for relidding for very obvious reasons.I apply thermal paste to both the cooler and CPU when mounting to get that cohesion effect and to fill in all the micro gaps on the surface. If not anything it's applied to has to be horizontal so gravity doesn't let it drop before applying a cpu cooler ? This increased thermal conductivity is due not only to the choice of material, but also to the innovative manufacturing process. The graphene thermal pads of the Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet series can be used as an excellent alternative for thermal compounds from the higher performance segment.

I also used TG-PP10 under the Poseidons' larger monoblock heatsink which covers some IC's and the RAM, tested with a thermal probe before/after, and RAM temps are lower as well. I watched a video and it seems comparable to the Kryonaut , just 1-2c warmer so I don’t believe it’s going to be better in that term. Got PTM on my 6900XT and the 5900X, destroyed the Kryonaut on the GPU, just slightly outperforms it on the CPU but comes with the plus that it will last forever without the need to reapply. After cleaning the contact surface (CPU, CPU cooler, GPU, GPU cooler), the KryoSheet is simply positioned on the processor or graphics chip to be cooled before the cooler is mounted.Compared to Carbonaut pads, KryoSheet as a high-end product offers significantly higher thermal conductivity. Any laptop users (aside from the new Recoil chassis that use liquid metal), I would strongly recommend purchasing one of these. I was having to keep 7950x under 140w to keep it cool with MX6 but I'm pulling 200w now with it staying around 85c.

In addition to applications in industry, for example in the construction of servers, this is also an advantage in domestic PC construction or in the OEM sector. However, as a side effect of this complex manufacturing process, the electrical conductivity is also increased and the stability of the KryoSheet pads is influenced, so that the pads should only be used according to instructions! Had 7900XTX from Gigabyte and slowly after few months temps have risen to over 100 because of pump out, even though at first it was only at 87. I want to share with you my experiences with the Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet, a graphen thermal pad in combination with a Watercool Heatkiller V waterblock.Overall temps are down about 16c and fan speeds about 1200rpm, mine was thermal throttling and the fan annoyed me. KryoSheet contains no liquid components and is therefore not subject to normal aging, as is the case with traditional thermal paste. In his review it looked like the KryoSheet was doing just as well as the thermal paste he had used on his test-bed. This makes it much easier to apply, because you literally just drop it onto the surface you want to cool.
