From the author of the best-selling Paul Sykes books Unfinished Agony and Further Agony Jamie Boyle. Some hate him and say he was an absolute monster, others have cried in front of me and said they still miss him so much, that he had a good heart and was so caring. The latter half of the book recounts how Brian began to turn his life around for better by becoming a believer in God and being baptised in the North Sea. It does get a little repetitive, unavoidable given its about in the main one man but thats to be expected of this style of book.I downloaded this book upon release at midnight and sat up all night and read the lot as I simply could not put it down. He is also involved in producing and directing crime documentaries and big-screen gangster movie scripts. But the book also shows a different side to Lee Duffy, one of the most notorious criminals to operate on Teesside, explaining how he had regrets during his short life as well as being a joker.

Containing many firsthand and previously unheard accounts from some of Duffy’s closest friends and associates, this book will finally confirm who the man was and what he was really all about. There was another side to Lee that has never really been properly documented until now, and the author has certainly done that in a fair, balanced and respectful way with this book. The ability to comment on our stories is a privilege, not a right, however, and that privilege may be withdrawn if it is abused or misused. There are accounts from people who knew Duffy because they had worked the doors with him and witnessed the many fights he had with drunks and doormen alike, and accounts from people who had hung around him and were privy to his inner thoughts. I do think Jamie seems a cool bloke and yes he is obsessed with Duffy and does glamorize him and make excuses for his often disgusting bullying behaviour, in fairness duffy is a fascinating character who's legacy has been built up probly way more than it deserves, I'd say he got beat many of times in a fair fight that we haven't heard of, but there is no doubt he was an absolute lunatic, the whole bullying thing is a cop out and all nonsense in my opinion, he had something wrong with him and by all accounts just thrived on violence and carnage he just loved hurting people to gain his reputation and install fear in everyone.Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). I like the fact that jamie has put alot of hard into making sure there's no bullshit in this book and that the people he interviewed were people who knew him the closest, lees family , work mates , friends and enemies are in this book and I feel that this was the only way you could get a full picture of who lee was and how he lived I only hope now they make a movie about this young lad from Teesside who was just a kid and done so much in his short 26 years.
