About this deal

Considering how "light" the original was, this "Eau Intense" is more like "Eau Normale" or what the original should have been. Smells great, but at this point Light Blue is simply too familiar to my nose - from both myself and others around me wearing the original often. The citruses blend in very smoothly on skin, a world of difference when sprayed in the air and the way the Amberwood, Musk and Juniper developed after that was phenomenal. The new batch Dec 2021 smells more natural and closer to the original Light Blue but has weak projection and I can barely detect it 3 hours later.

Light Blue eau Intense to my nose is smelling exactly like a morning walk on the beach of black sea. Its stunning presentation, olfactory mastery, and versatility make it an essential addition to any fragrance collection. Note: The pros and cons listed on this page have been generated using the artificial intelligence system, which analyzes product reviews submitted by our members. While not nearly as unique or groundbreaking as Forever when it came out, then reinforced by Italian Love the year after, this is still a very nice fragrance. Fffffffffk, now people is talking about Costa azzurra, I bought this bottle when it was released here in Mexico and I instantly realized that this is similar to Costa Azzurra parfum but this one is more sweet and Costa azzurra is more luxurious and better quality.Only complaint is that the sea water note here might smell a bit overpowering and slightly anoying but still amazing fragrance, 8. Update: Coming back to this one, I now recognize the aquatic note to be the same one found in Living Stromboli. This is a fragrance that can be worn in a variety of settings, from the beach to the office, and can be dressed up or down with ease. Overall, an excellent addition to the line which will be great in the high heat of the coming summer. The dry down retains it's saline opening but with juniper, musk, and a vague woody note to complete the fragrance.

While I have used many Light Blue variants in the past this is the only one that I own, and I give it an 8/10 assuming that you don't already have Light Blue. The blend of citruses with sea notes and herbal tones makes this a supremely appealing clean and vibrant scent for all occasions. Maybe not the most original fragrance on the market, but it does its job quite well and I highly recommend it if you like fresh scents. This fragrance isn't pretending to be natural and the perfumer clearly was going for a happy vibe with this one. A chilled citrus cocktail of refreshing mandarin and frozen grapefruit gives the top notes a cool, elegant twist.
