About this deal

Each story comes complete with accompanying artwork from fan-favourite game artist LadyFiszi, who brings the horror to life in startling new ways. So, as someone who has become very familiar with this series I feel like I should explain that 'Into The Pit' is a story about a kid getting his dad replaced by Springtrap via shenanigans involving a time traveling ball pit.

I'd still compare them to series like Goosebumps, only that "controlled environment" of horror where nobody dies or meets with a horrendous fate is absent here. So, just to be squirrelly, Oswald sinks into the ball pit, emerging in 1985 when Freddy's is in its heyday. Based on the title and leaked trailer, it seems that Into the Pit will be based on the Fazbear Frights book of the same name. Scott said some are directly related to the games and others aren't, and there was a thread on Freddit discussing what this could mean, but I'm just going to enjoy the three stories I've read so far as "loosely connected to the games. He reminds me so much of a late former coworker who did the same thing for a kid at our bar years ago.The story follows a ten-year-old boy on his summer vacation as he discovers a rundown pizza restaurant with a mysterious ball-pit hidden inside. The new FNAF game is being made by Mega Cat Studios, the developer of pro wrestling adventure Wrestlequest, and it looks to be a different take on the series, with side-scrolling gameplay and a distinctly retro style. He tries to find Chip and Mike but comes across the yellow bunny, which leads him through a private door and down a long, dark corridor. Bringing life to a cavalcade of well-known characters like Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Foxy, Bonnie, and more, Five Nights at Freddy's has seen immense success, spinoffs, and fan games.

You can't really enjoy these if you don't suspend belief somewhat, because two of these stories involve robots that sure seem like they're Funtime Freddy and Circus Baby, both salvaged from junkyards. Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit is adapting the first short story from the Fazbear Frights novel series, bringing long-abandoned events to the spotlight and possibly establishing canonicity.

The story involves a time-travelling ball pit, a Spring Bonnie body-swap that only the protagonist can see, and -as is tradition in FNAF- more child murder. I suppose this will be a cheap way for FNAF to have an official game while Steel Wool works on the next 3D game. But in the twisted world of Five Nights at Freddy’s, their hearts’ deepest desires have an unexpected cost. LadyFiszi did some really cool artwork for these and they really need to be full color, black and white wouldn't have done them justice.

Apparently there was a huge misunderstanding when I approved a skin, and it was interpreted as RELEASE THE GAME. The souls of these victims are trapped within the ball pit from Into the Pit, where they are forced to exist in torment. Listeners beware: This collection of terrifying tales is enough to unsettle even the most hardened Five Nights at Freddy's fans.I’m not like the cheerleaders or all those models and pop stars whose pictures you have plastered all over your room. In this volume, horror master Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length stories from different corners of his series’ canon. The release] is one of the most baffling, insane, things to ever happen in my ten years of working on FNAF," he said in December 2023. all three stories are about a child wanting a better life, in one way or another, and meeting a FNAF friend who helps them to their dismay.
